“Illness is a state of disintegration and wellness is a state of integration.”

about me

Hi! I’m Emily, a registered acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine herbalist.

As a long time yoga and Pilates instructor, I worked with clients who initially only focus on exercise to fix their health issues but the more I worked with them the more we noticed that the emotional and nutritional aspect needed to be addressed as well in order to affect real change.

That’s where acupuncture and Chinese medicine excels, balancing the body, mind and spirit to achieve optimum health.

Acupuncture

For the uninitiated, acupuncture needles may seem scary but once you get over the initial fear you’ll realized it doesn’t hurt. Relax and take an acu-nap, allow the needles to direct your body to rebalance.

Herbs

If acupuncture is the mechanic for your body, herbs are the oil. Chinese herbs provide the building blocks your body needs to complete repairs.

Cupping

Made popular by professional athletes, the round bruises are now a badge of honour. Cupping can release bruise and scar tissue and allow it to be drained through your lymphatic system.
